Project Mercy
Project Mercy is a non-profit, San Diego based organization committed to improving the quality of life for families in the poorest neighborhoods surrounding Tijuana, Mexico. Klemmer and Associates has worked in partnership with Project Mercy since 2003 to improve and provide the basic living standards. Recognizing the health and environmental hazards associated with inadequate housing, Klemmer and Associates graduates have supported Project Mercy in funding and building 56 homes, 60 latrines, a community center, a school, a school auditorium and school playgrounds. Along with painting, cleaning, and improving these homes, buildings and neighborhoods, Klemmer and Associates graduates have supported with raising over $850,000 in contributions to provide a better lifestyle for our neighbors in the Tijuana region.

Klemmer and Associates Prison Program
The Prison Program is a two to three day event that is tailored from the Personal Mastery Seminar for incarcerated men and women. The purpose of this training is to help prison inmates develop tools so that they may function safely and healthily within their prison culture. The training also seeks to help them develop skills that will allow them to re-enter the world and reclaim their lives in a lasting way. Our goal is to decrease the number of inmates that continue to return to the prison system after they are released. Klemmer and Associates has worked in partnership for this project with Nancy Ferguson at Fresh Start Ministries since 2007. This program is made possible by graduate donations and support.
The Prison Program has taken place twice in Snohomish County Jail in Washington state. Both trainings were lead by facilitator Brian Miller. The trainings received incredible responses from inmates, staff and officials. We are currently working on a third training in this facility as well as a training for the facility's staff. If you would like to learn more about how you can support the Prison Program, please call the Klemmer and Associates office at 800.577.5447 or visit Fresh Start Ministries at www.freshstartministries.org.
Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF)
When Azim Khamisa's son, Tariq, was murdered by a fourteen-year-old gang member, Azim knew he had a tremendous opportunity to embrace the power of forgiveness. Instead of falling into resentment and revenge, Azim chose to forgive and joined forces with the guardian of his son's murderer to form the Tariq Khamisa Foundation. With the mission of ending violence among youth, the Foundation travels to schools all over the country to teach children about gang violence and how they can promote peace in the world. Klemmer and Associates sponsors this cause - over $500,000 a year.
Azim Khamisa is a sought after key-note speaker and has appeared on many major television stations. His message of forgiveness has resulted in meetings with several U.S. presidents, the Dalai Lama, and the Pope. Azim Khamisa is a regular speaker at the Klemmer and Associates Heart of the Samurai course in San Diego, California.

The Shade Tree Foundation
The Shade Tree Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a world that works for everyone with no one left out by producing the leaders of tomorrow. Our purpose is to impact the world and lives of others in the spirit of "Agape" love, in such a way as to leave a lasting impact. We understand this impact may very well be such that we gain no direct benefit from it. However others will see many great things as a result, helping to create a world that works for everyone with no one left out.
